Bingen WWTF Oxidation Ditch Rehabilitation

The City of Bingen, Washington, initiated a project to improve its Wastewater Treatment Facility in June of 2020. Emagineered Solutions, Inc. was scoped with cleaning the Oxidation Ditch, repairing cracks in the structure, and restoring it’s concrete surface. ESI’s crew injected chemical polyurethane grout to fill voids under the structure and seal leaking cracks. Polymer-modified mortar was placed to restore the surface of the structure where spalling and deterioration had compromised the concrete.
